All Dressed Up and Looking Fabulous!

Yet ANOTHER All Dressed Up card.  Are you tired of them yet?  I hope now - I still have one more to post (and hope to make more).

After cutting the dress out with the Dress Up Framelit, I embossed it with the Lacy Brocade embossing folder, but left the bodice of  the dress hang out of the folder so just the skirt has texture.

CASEd from here.

Stamp Set:  Fabulous Phrases
Card Stock:  melon mambo, pretty in pink, basic black, whisper white.
Stamp Pad:  basic black
Other:  lacy brocade embossing folder, perfect polka dots embossing folder, dress up framelits, word window punch, 1/16"  hole punch, basic rhinestones, stampin' dimensionals, whisper white bakers twine.

All Dressed Up in Daffodil Delight

I just love the All Dressed Up Stamp and Framelit set from the Spring Catalog.  My girl friends will probably get tired of receiving cards with dresses and dress forms.  For the inside sentiment, I used one of the stamps that came with the set; "happy birthday!  fashionably late...but worth the wait".  It never hurts to have a belated birthday card on hand.  Just in case.  Well I mailed two of the 'just in case' cards in one day.  {sigh}

If you want to know how to create a thin mat for your framelits and punches like I did on this card, check out this tutorial by Stampingly Yours.

CASEd from this card.

Stamp Set:  All Dressed Up
Card Stock:  daffodil delight, whisper white, basic black, polka dot parade dsp
Stamp Pad:  daffodil delight
Other:  pearls, dimensionals, daffodil delight seam binding ribbon, glue dot, apothecary accents framelits, dress up framelits, big shot.

Well, as promised, they are making effort to keep our color lines fresh and updated.  And I thrilled that they are.  There will be changes in the new 2013-2014 Catalog due out in less than 2 months (talk about time flying).

Some of the discontinued colors I don't care for and rarely/never use.  Others, I do use, but I am happy to trade them off for the new colors.  They work so much better for today's trends.
Check out this VIDEO to see them all in action.
The colors that are going out are now officially considered to be discontinued and will only be available while supplies last.  If you have favorites, now is a good time to stock up on card stock, ribbon and ink refills.  Also, don't forget the 2011-2013 In Colors will be rotating out to make room for 5 new 2013-2015 In Colors in June.
To make this an even better time to stock up, Stampin' Up! is offering free shipping April 6-8!!  There is no minimum or maximum order requirement.  However, this does not apply to expedited shipping.

Thank you!
