Fluttering in Pink

I was teased for pondering about blue trees in my last post, so we won't discuss the likelihood of pink butterflies. :0) I made this card the other day and just loved it. It's so sweet ... and pink. I like how the polka-dot background coordinates with the polka dot butterfly image. And the circles are popped up so it looks like they're floating above the paper.
I decided this would be a good card to give Emma for her last day of Kindergarten. Then we went on her field trip Friday to the Dayton Art Institute and our favorite exhibit had butterfly walls. That sealed the deal.
BTW, that was not a field trip worth repeating. The children's activity was not so great. Their favorite part of the day was the bus ride. Most of the children are car riders so it was their first time on a school bus. When the bus pulled away from the curve, they giggled and squealed. And when it turned the first corner, they really whooped it up. It was so funny! If we had just circled the block a few times, they would've called it a perfect day.
Have a super week!
